Just finished reading good friend Rob Waite's latest blog entries.  Seems he has the same idea as I have about packing in blogging after this current season closes.  I've been toying with the idea of making this my fifth and final season blogging. Although it is a great way to record the matches and venues visited, it sometimes becomes nothing more than a chore.

Kev is producing better and better match pictures every game,  and it may be a case of posting his images onto a Kodak Galley/Photobucket/flicka account with just the relevant match details to accompany them.  Or a short entry on facebook.  Who knows....

Rob, aka Ian Cognito, aka Ian Midloth, has always been an inspiration to yours truly and is a genuinely funny man, with more tales to tell than the Brothers Grimm. His blog will be sorely missed, and it is to be hoped that he can be made to change his mind before the start of season 2012-2013.

Rob's blog motto is "Siqus quercus virescit industria" - a great motto for a real Nottinghamshire bloke - "industry flourishes like the oak".  I always have a dig at him residing in the "People's Republic of Retfordshire", but even though he does take in a fare share of South Yorkshire games, he is Nottinghamshire through and through.....at least that's what he told me!!

Not met up with Rob for a while, but with several cup finals coming up in the very near future, I'm sure we'll bump into each other on more than one occasion - and I'll dig deep to see if he really is going to pack in blogging ... or if it's just a publicity stunt to attract more readers!!!
