Bulwell FC 3-1 Sandhurst (NSL)

Thursday 15th March -- ko 7:30 at Greenwich Avenue

Not an exciting game, but the second goal of CONNOR CARTER's brace was a bit special.  The striker had opened the scoring for the home team on 21, holding off a challenge before slotting past Sandhurst keeper Griffiths.

Sandhurst were level 90 seconds later though, a penalty converted by CLIFF CLARKE, but all present applauded the second Bulwell goal in the 31st minute, a sublime chip over the keeper from the corner of the penalty area...simply stunning!
H-T 2-1

Sandhurst had a lot of possession in the second period, but lacked any bite up front.  Bulwell midfielder Mark Green was our MOM, his distribution and reading of the game second to none. ALLAN JEFFRIES came on late in proceedings and made the points secure for Bulwell in the 3rd minute of added time - slotting home at the far post. F-T 3-1
